Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026 · Consent version: 1.1
This policy explains how Tepnyx uses cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, session identifiers and similar technologies on tepnyx.com (including the Decider web app) and in the Decider app for iOS and Android.
1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. In desktop and mobile apps we may use equivalent technologies such as local storage, system preferences, cache, session tokens or technical identifiers.
- Session: deleted when you close the session, browser or app.
- Persistent: remain until they expire or you delete them.
- First-party: managed by Tepnyx.
- Third-party: managed by integrated providers such as Supabase, Apple, Google, Stripe or social APIs.
2. Categories
2.1 Essential
Required for authentication, security, consent, navigation, giveaway participation, payments or basic operation. They cannot be disabled from the panel because the service would not work properly.
| Name or data | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tepnyx_session | Keep the user session active | Up to 30 days |
tepnyx_sid | Anonymous session and security identifier | Session |
tepnyx_cookie_consent | Store that you managed consent | 12 months |
tepnyx_cookie_version | Accepted consent version | 12 months |
| Supabase tokens | Account authentication and security | Depending on session or account settings |
| OAuth state / PKCE | Protect social network connections | Temporary, normally minutes or hours |
Legal basis: performance of a contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest.
2.2 Functional
Remember preferences to improve the experience. You can reject them, although saved settings will be lost.
| Name or data | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tepnyx_lang | Selected language | Until you change or delete it |
decider:canvas:* | Giveaway dashboard preferences (panel snapping, chat panel settings) | Until you change or delete them |
tepnyx_app_banner_dismissed | Remembers that you closed the mobile app banner | Until you delete it |
| App preferences | In the mobile app: language, theme, wheel and notification settings, stored on the device | Until you uninstall the app or sign out |
| Wheel settings | Options, colors, sounds, weights and premium preferences | Until you delete them or close the account |
Legal basis: consent or performance of a contract when you save a requested setting.
2.3 Analytics
Help us understand usage in aggregated or pseudonymized form: visited pages, downloads, wheel spins, flow errors, participations and used features.
| Name or data | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tepnyx_analytics | Analytics preference | 24 months |
analyticsevents events | Usage metrics, downloads, page_view, roulette_spin and operational events | Up to 24 months |
Some operational records required for security, giveaway audit, fraud prevention, downloads or payments may be generated even if you reject optional analytics.
Legal basis: consent for optional analytics and legitimate interest for operational records.
2.4 Performance and Diagnostics
Used to detect errors, measure loading times, debug issues, manage cache and improve stability on web, desktop and mobile.
| Name or data | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
tepnyx_performance | Performance preference | 12 months |
decider_cache | Temporary Decider cache | Up to 7 days |
| Technical logs | Diagnostics, security and error resolution | Up to 24 months |
Legal basis: legitimate interest and consent where required.
3. Third Parties
- Supabase: authentication, database, storage and sessions.
- Stripe or other web payment providers: payments, fraud prevention, receipts and billing.
- Apple App Store: purchases, subscriptions, renewals and refunds on iOS.
- Google Play: purchases, subscriptions, renewals and refunds on Android.
- YouTube and Twitch: account connection, giveaway requirement verification and access revocation.
4. Temporary Social Cookies and Data
When you connect YouTube, Twitch or TikTok we briefly store oauth_pending_youtube, oauth_pending_twitch, oauth_pending_tiktok or oauth_pending_tiktok_business (and, for TikTok, the authorization code until it's sent to our server) in the browser while the connection completes, to prevent impersonation; they're deleted once it's done. The connected account's tokens are kept on our server, not in the browser, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. How to Manage Preferences
- From the cookie banner you can accept all, use essential only or customize categories.
- You can change or delete cookies from Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or another browser's settings.
- On iOS and Android you can manage permissions, notifications, storage and app data from system settings.
- In Decider you can sign out, disconnect social platforms or delete your account from the available options.
- You can also write us through the contact form or send an email to soporte@tepnyx.com.
6. Consequences of Rejecting or Deleting Technologies
- You may need to sign in more often.
- Language, interface, wheel or Decider preferences may be lost.
- Some social verifications, participations, payments or premium features may not complete.
- Anti-fraud security and audit may require essential records.
7. Transfers, Minors and Updates
Some providers may process data outside the EEA with appropriate safeguards. We do not direct the services to children under 13 (see the Privacy Policy). If we materially change this policy or categories, we will update the consent version and ask for preferences again where appropriate.
8. Contact
For cookie questions, use the contact form or write to soporte@tepnyx.com. This policy complements the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
