How to play Tirada

Tirada is a free daily game by Tepnyx: one game a day, a couple of minutes long, with the same wheel for everyone.

  1. Spin the wheel. Each slice adds points, doubles what you have (×2) or is a skull.
  2. After every spin, decide: keep spinning to add more, or bank what you have.
  3. A skull makes you lose what you had in that round. There are five rounds.
  4. Share your result and come back tomorrow: there's a new wheel every day.

The slices

  • +25Adds those points to the round.
  • ×2Doubles what you have in the round.
  • 💀You lose the round's points and move on to the next one.

The rounds

The first round is today's wheel as it is. The next three twist it: more skulls, double points, one more ×2, a +150 jackpot or one skull fewer. The last one is the final round: it has one more skull, but whatever you bank counts double. On Sundays it's the cursed round: two more skulls and it counts triple.

Instinct

Spins are random for each player, so points are partly luck. Instinct measures what does depend on you: the share of right decisions. Every time you have points at stake and choose to keep going or bank, it's compared with the best play given the slices on the wheel. When it was a close call, both count as right.

FAQ

Is the Tirada the same for everyone?

The wheel is: there's one a day, the same for the whole world. What each spin lands on is random for each player, which is why instinct counts as well as points.

When does the Tirada come out?

At midnight, your time. You have the whole day to play it, and it can only be played once.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play without one. With a free Tepnyx account you enter the ranking and your streak is kept on all your devices.

Can I play with my chat?

Yes. In “Play with your chat” your Twitch, Kick or YouTube community votes on every decision, and there's a ranking of chats. There's a screen to add to OBS.

Is it played for money?

No. There are only points: no bets, cash prizes or purchases.

What's the best strategy?

Banking too early leaves points on the table, and always going on ends in a skull. Look at how many skulls and ×2 there are and how much the points slices add up to: the more you have at stake, the more a skull costs you.
